With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leona Feimster Dillingham Buckner of Barnardsville, North Carolina, born in Henderson, North Carolina, who passed away on July 5, 2020 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, John D. Feimster and Stella Herron Feimster; her husbands, Walter York Dillingham and Lynn "Dit" Buckner; her daughters, Anita Dillingham Bailey and Glenda Lynn Dillingham; her grandson Marshall D. Bailey; and her brother William Francis Feimster.
She is survived by: her sons, Dewayne York Dillingham (Linda) of Barnardsville and Marvin John Dillingham (Brenda) of Barnardsville; and her grandchildren, Andrea Bailey Newman (Billy), Mitchell Bailey (Nicole), Brandalyn Slager (Nick), Tiffany Silvers (Bryon), Justin Dillingham (Emily), Jenna Dillingham, Jared Dillingham (Dorothy) and Joanna Dillingham. She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren.
