He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Hagen and Borghild Johansson Hagen. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Bever Hagen; his children, Lisa Kowalski, Dawn Barbieri, John D. Hagen, Jr. and Erik Hagen; his grandchildren, Jessie, Jenny, Sarah, Shelby, Michael, Lauren, Nicholas and Maria; and his great grandchildren, Giovanni, Vincent, Hunter and Olivia.
