He was predeceased by: his parents, John Haynes and Virginia Haynes of Barnardsville, NC.. He is survived by: his sisters, Elizabeth Jones (Opal), Francis Jarrett and Carolyn Taylor; his sons, Stan Haynes (Lori), Keith Haynes and Tim Haynes; his grandchildren, Amanda Young (Kevin) and Jacob Haynes; and his stepson Kent Kelly (Kasey).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Groce Funeral Home - Patton Ave. (1401 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28806). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Western Carolina State Veteran's Cemetery (962 Old Hwy 70 E, Black Mountain, NC 28711).
