She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Harwood and Vonnie Carson Harwood; her stepfather Virgil Harwood; her husband Frank O. Ball; her sons, Eugene and Richard "Rick" Ball; and her siblings, Thelma Haynes, Myrtle Poe, Vance, Morris, Boyd, Olin, Marshall and Ivory Harwood.
She is survived by: her sons, Frankie "Pete" Ball (Mary Ann) of Barnardsville, Derek "Duck" Ball of Barnardsville and David Ball of Alexander; and her sister Annie Banks of Barnardsville. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
