She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Vonny Brooks and Ozelle Hudson Brooks; her husband Robert Howard Gregory, Sr.; her son Johnny Herndon; and her brother Clinton Brooks.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert H. Gregory, II (Michelle) of Morganton, NC and Jackie E. Herndon (Debbie) of Gastonia, NC; her siblings, Coleen Wilson of Kings Mountain, NC, Pat Carrigan of Ocala, FL and L. V. Brooks of Banner Elk, NC; her grandchildren, Robert Dorian Gregory, Zoe Gregory, Greg Herndon, Karla Herndon and Rebecca Nelson; and her great grandchildren, Gabby, Jordan, Peyton and Parker.
