He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Hicks and Dorsie Harmon Hicks; and his siblings, Eva Hicks and Bennie Hicks. He is survived by: his children, Jeannie Jones-Coltson (Eric) of Dallas and Rusty Jones (Elizabeth) of Bluefield; his grandchildren, Dakota Jones of Dallas and Jacob Coltson of Dallas; his great grandchild Madeline Clubb of Dallas; and his siblings, Rosie Williams (Dan) of Banner Elk and Gordon Hicks of Banner Elk. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
