He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Madison Leslie and Dorothy Browning Leslie; and his siblings, Barbara Jean Leslie, Lawrence Morris Leslie and Eugene Carlton Leslie.
He is survived by: his wife Nel Williams Leslie of Banner Elk; his children, Dennis Michael Leslie (Sandy) of Spartanburg and Stephanie Cranford (Jefferson) of Charlotte; and his grandson Zachary Cranford of Charlotte.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Foscoe Christian Church.
