She is survived by: her husband George A. Keesler of Banner Elk; her son Scott Keesler (Jane) of Boone; her grandchildren, Sam Keesler (Hope) of Montana, Will Keesler (Alex Keesler) of Boone and Elizabeth Keesler of New Jersey; and her brother W. S. McSwain (Mary) of North Wilkesboro. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
