With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Ward of Banner Elk, North Carolina, who passed away on December 16, 2020 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Lee and Nettie Hicks Presnell; and her husband David Harmon Ward. She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Arnette (Bobby) of Deep Gap, Jody Ward (Sharon Pope) and Jeffrey Ward (Angela) of Boone; and her grandchildren, David Charles Arnette, Jacob Holden Ward, William Doyle Arnette, Seth Isaac Ward and Alyssa Jean Arnette. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
