He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Clay Presnell and Hazel Estep Presnell; and his siblings, Mary Presnell, Ida Presnell, Betty Estep, Gurney, Calloway, Ransom, Kenney and Benny Presnell.
He is survived by: his significant other Melinda Presnell; his sons, Gary W. Presnell (Melissa) of Banner Elk and Terry Presnell (Christina) of Myrtle Beach; his grandsons, Justin Presnell of Banner Elk, Austin Presnell of Banner Elk, Ryan Presnell of Banner Elk and Dustin Presnell of Banner Elk; his great grandchildren, Landon Presnell, Aiden Harris, Westen Presnell and Aleeah Presnell; his siblings, Rilda Everhart (Mike) of Greensboro, Beulah Clawson (Troy) of Elk Park, Patty Clawson (Raymond) of Elk Park, Sue Johnson (Allen) of Elk Park, Louisa Clawson (Allen) of Elk Park, Bobby Presnell (Pat) of Vilas and Billy Presnell (Glenda) of Greensboro; and his brother-in-law Pat Estep.
