He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley and Elizabeth Hicks Presnell; his wife Ruby Dean Presnell; and his brothers, Eugene and Dexter Presnell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Hollars (Greg) of Vilas and Leona Barnes (Stanley) of Boomer; his siblings, Earl Presnell (Diane) of Gamewell, Wade Presnell (Sue) of Stoneville and Maxine Wilcox of Vilas; and his close friend Hattie Bell Phillips. He is also survived by 5 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Hampton Funeral Service (683 Blowing Rock Rd, Boone, NC 28607). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
