Edna Earl Rupard Townsend Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Earl Rupard Townsend of Banner Elk, North Carolina, who passed away on September 27, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rommie Rupard and Cora Story Rupard; her children, Peggy Townsend, Dennis Townsend, Ray Lewis Townsend and Nancy Townsend; her siblings, Dorothy Jean Norwood, Pauline Townsend, Ruth Rupard, Lennie, Pete, Doyle and Wayne Rupard; and her son-in-law Eddie Eggers.
She is survived by: her husband Floyd Ray Townsend; her daughters, Jane Eggers of Banner Elk and Holly Tina Johnson (Adam) of Banner Elk; and her grandchildren, Roxanne Franklin (John) of Banner Elk, Nichole Johnson of Bethel, Mark Eggers (Tammi) of Banner Elk and Logan Johnson of Bethel. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
