He is survived by: his significant other Mary Henderson Bumgarner; his daughters, Millie Bumgarner Sluder (Matt) and Baker Julia Bumgarner; his parents, Betty Storie Bumgarner and Homer Ray Bumgarner; his brother Homer Chris Bumgarner (Jane); and his nieces and nephews, Carter Ellis Bumgarner (Cierra) and Cassie Bumgarner Vess (Dillon).
A prayer was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mountain Glen Golf Course (1 Club house Dr, Newland, NC 28657).
