He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Kirkup. He is survived by: his mother Janette Dell; his daughter Cassidy Pearl Kirkup of Banner Elk; his wife Carolyn Kirkup; his children, Candace Arnett of Banner Elk, Megan Grantham (Brandon) of Roan Mountain, Zachary Moore Kirkup of Bristol, VA., Chandler Lynn Arnett of Banner Elk and Coty Moore-Kirkup (Amanda) of Bristol, VA.; his siblings, Amanda Porter (Geoff) of Australia and Shane Kirkup of Australia; and also, Tate and Patsy Arnett of Banner Elk. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
