He is survived by: his wife Gail Bare Harmon; his children, Beverly Perry and James Harmon of Banner Elk; his stepsons, Michael (Tanya) of Elizabethton and Mark Taylor (Rita) of Wilkesboro; his granddaughters, Malorie, Britney, Heather and Amber; his stepgranddaughters, Chelsea, Mikayla and Cristianne; his great grandchildren, Addison, Aiden, Harper, Aryon, Cadence, August, Salem and Carson; his siblings, Clifford Harmon of Banner Elk and Viola Harmon of New York; and the mother of his children Rachel Harmon.
