With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steve Carver of Balsam, North Carolina, born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on July 10, 2020 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Reece Carver and Donna Raines Carver; and his brother Ricky Carver. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Westbrook Carver; his sons, Elias Carver (Cheyenne) of Asheville and Lucas Carver (Kayti) of Waynesville; his siblings, Teresa Pindur (Gregory) of Bryson City and Michael Carver (Jan) of Winchester, KY; his sister-in-law Debbie Carver (Kenny Nun) of Sylva; his stepfather Kenneth Atkins (Mary) of Newport, TN; and his granddaughter Evelyn Carver of Waynesville.
