He was predeceased by: his parents, George Silver and Ruth Robinson Silver; his brother Wayne Silver; and his brother-in-law Ronnie Grindstaff. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Grindstaff Silver; his children, Mark, Sherry Silver, John, Misti Silver, Jennifer and Josh Dellinger; his grandchildren, Makayla, Annali, Jackson, Riley, Jace and Jordan; his great grandchild Kinsley; his sister Wanda; his siblings-in-law, Tom Freeman of Spruce Pine, Ginger (Jap Phillips) of Burnsville and Norma Grindstaff; and his caregivers, Samantha, Brittany, Sierra and Junior. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
