He is survived by: his wife Betty Penix Greene; and his children, Linda McKinney (Roman) of Johnson City, TN, Debra Sue Burnett of Kyle Texas, William "Billy" Greene (Amelia Dale) of Jonesborough, TN, Lana Kay Whitehead (Michael) of Bakersville, NC, Rodney Dale Greene (Rita) of Spruce Pine, NC and Tammy Houser (Tom) of Bakersville, NC. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
