He is survived by: his sister Rita Stevenson Garland of Highlands, NC; his nephews, Rodney Garland (Jennifer) of Bakersville and Shannon Garland (Amy) of Bakersville; his great-niece Faith Garland; his uncle Gene; and also, Chase Garland, Tucker Garland and Colby Garland.
