He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Thomas and Pearl Woody Thomas; and his siblings, Bonnie Davis, Hattie Gouge, Floyd, Dan, Bill, Paul, Arvel, Ben, Jim and Jeter.
He is survived by: his wife Billie Greene Thomas; his children, Pamela White (Joshua) of Newton, NC and Steven Wayne Thomas (Marie) of Bakersville; his siblings, Grace Allen, Johnny D. Thomas and Joe Thomas; and his grandchildren, Haley Street, Landon Street, Claire White and Jake White.
