He is survived by: his children, Timothy Callahan (Patricia) of Unicoi, TN, Jason Callahan (Kara) of Canton, NC and Ashley Rizzo of Kings Mtn, NC; his siblings, Faye Freeman of Bakersville, NC and Eddie Callahan of Shelby, NC; and his close friend Diana Austin. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
