He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Jarrett and Marie Pitman Jarrett. He is survived by: his wife Patsy S. Jarrett; his sons, David Jarrett (Lesia) of Gray, TN and Danny Jarrett (Lorie) of Bakersville; his grandchildren, Ryan Jarrett (Brittany) of Nashville, TN, Cameron Jarrett of Johnson City, TN, Jake Jarrett (Brittany) of Bakersville and Anna Sutton (Matt) of Black Mountain; his great grandchildren, Zayn, Cora, Ensley, Eleanor, Abigail and Vida; and his siblings, Richard Jarrett (Nora Nell) of Bakersville and Alice Grindstaff (Kenny) of Bakersville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Phillips honor to; Bear Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, 327 Bear Creek Church Road, Bakersville, NC 28705.
