She is survived by: her son Scott Byrd of Tabor City, NC; her sister Carolyn Sue Garland of Burnsville, NC; her granddaughter Lillian Louann Byrd of Marion, NC; her cousins, Brenda Yelton of Erwin, TN and Rose Marie Yelton of Bakersville, NC.; and her brother Richard Garland.
