She was predeceased by: her parents, Burl Willis and Arzella Renfro Willis; her son Michael Jason Hughes; and her brother Darrin Willis. She is survived by: her daughter Sabrina McCoury of Bakersville; her close friend Edd Silver; her siblings, Karen Chandler of Hardgravel, Debra Robertson (Mike) of Double Island, Carmon Willis (Geri) of Spruce Pine and Jerry Willis; and her pet Blackie.
