She was predeceased by: her husband Herman Hobson; her daughter Jewel Hobson; her daughter-in-law Doris Hobson; her siblings, Jack, Clarence Burleson, Mae Albers, Maude Stevenson and Jean Maples; and her parents, Roby Burleson and Dessie Greene Burleson.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Hobson (Alane) of Bakersville, Dean Hobson of Nebo, NC and Margaret Greene (George) of Bakersville; her sister Margaret Conover of California; her grandchildren, Tim Hobson (Ellen), Keith Greene (Milessa) and Michelle Ferrell (Gary); and her great grandchildren, Ashley Hobson and Haley Walker.
Memorials may be made to the Bethlehem Baptist Church.
