She was predeceased by: her brothers, Clarence, Leon, Hershel and Lawrence Nash. She is survived by: her son Skip Weiford (Donna); her granddaughters, Tina Masters (David) of Bakersville and Jessica Phillips (Robert "Bear") of Bakersville; her great grandchildren, Olivia, Paige and Tyler; and her sister Mattie Deckert of Maryland.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Yancey Funeral Service (378 Charlie Brown Rd, Burnsville, NC 28714). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
