She was predeceased by: her parents, John Yelton and Hattie Greene Yelton; and her husband Claude Yelton. She is survived by: her children, Janice Silvers of Erwin, TN, Ann Stout (Tommy) of Bakersville, Vickie Waycaster of Bakersville, Howard Yelton (Linda) of Bakersville, Larry Yelton of Bakersville and Jim Yelton (Louise) of Morganton, NC. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
