She was predeceased by: her parents, Mack Garland and Grace McKinney Garland. She is survived by: her daughter Shirley Greene Edwards of Spruce Pine, NC; her grandchildren, Tammy Edwards VanValkenburg and Douglas Scott Edwards; her great grandchildren, Madison, Autumn and Alana VanValkenburg; her husband Ivan Greene; and her sister Maxie Hughes.
