He is survived by: his daughter Reba Knowlton of Hickory, NC; and his siblings, Mary Stafford (Don) of Bakersville, NC, Elizabeth Kay Hay of Spruce Pine, NC, Deb Mitchell of Spruce Pine, NC and Anthony (Tony). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
