He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Stockton and Bessie Stockton (Honeycutt); his son Danny Lee Stockton; and his sisters, Mary Higgins, Wilma Garland and Kathleen Silvers.
He is survived by: his wife Jacquline Stockton (Stevens); his son John Douglas Stockton of Bakersville; his grandchildren, John Christopher Stockton (Christie) of Bakersville, Brandy Stockton English (Chad) of Bakersville, Rebecca Rae Woody (Adam) of Bakersville and Carrie Lynn McCann (Steven) of Loganville; and his great grandchildren, Krista Marie Stockton of Bakersville, Ayden Wyatt Woody of Bakersville, Gracie LeAnne English of Bakersville, Mayce Rae Woody of Bakersville, Noah Matthew McCann of Loganville, Dannie Caroline McCann of Loganville and Abbott Steven McCann of Loganville.
