He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Bailey; his sons, Dale Bailey (Paula) of Spruce Pine, John Bailey (Debbie) of Spruce Pine and Eric Bailey of Charlotte; and his siblings, Rex Bailey (Linda) of California, Robert Bailey (Evelyn) of Pineola, Lillian Ledford of Bakersville, Pearl Reide of Marion and Linda Buchanan of Hickory. He is also survived by five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
