He is survived by: his parent Lilly McKinney Stewart; his spouse Gloria Stewart; his children, Cynthia Stewart of Linville Falls, Diane Meatyard (Christopher) of Lexington, Kentucky, Billy Stewart (Kymra) of Oak Island and James Stewart (Aubrey) of Asheville; and his stepsons, David Hoilman (Naomi) of Burnsville and Mark Hoilman of Burnsville.
