He is survived by: his children, Cathy Chapman (Mike) of Gray, TN and Dale Staton (Janet) of Bakersville, NC; his sisters, Emma Lee Buchanan of Bakersville, NC and Sue Gouge of Bakersville, NC; his grandchildren, Kimberly Revis and Sam Staton; his great grandchildren, Jack and Levi Revis; his wife Carolyn Duncan Staton; and his son Van Staton.
