She is survived by: her children, Carol Joyner (Douglas) of Bakersville and Craig Smith of Banner Elk; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Pilkington (Joshua) of Princeton, NC, Faith Preslar (Christopher) of Charlotte and Joseph Joyner of Bakersville; and her great grandchildren, Ethan Garrison, Emily Pilkington, Jude Preslar and Maggie Preslar.
