She is survived by: her siblings, Elvia Cranford of Asheville, Carolyn Galloway of Brevard, Ellen Hawley of Georgia, Lloyd Garland of Bakersville, Howard Garland of Bakersville and Ray Garland of Bakersville; and her grandchildren, Ashley and Aaron Garland. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
