He is survived by: his children, Dakota Morningstar of California, Jessica Morningstar of Bakersville, NC and Daniel Jay Morningstar of Hawaii; his brother Carl Moser of West Virginia; and his grandchildren, Eric Shane Nunn II, Aston Michael Fraiser and Violet Elizabeth Buchanan.
