He is survived by: his wife Patricia Jean Grindstaff; his mother Ora Grindstaff; his children, Alvin Edward Grindstaff Jr., Charity Stewart (David) and Sierra Bennett (Matthew); his siblings, Lois Blevins (Billy), Allen Grindstaff (Lydia), Johnny Grindstaff (Jeannine) and Ronnie Grindstaff (Darlene); his grandsons, Alex, Isaiah Grindstaff, Blake, Logan Stewart and Carson Bennett; and his great grandchild Koby Horne. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
