We are sad to announce that on March 10, 2021, at the age of 89, Whitley Boyd of Bailey, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Connie Mercer; and his parents, Whitley Boyd and Pauline Matthews Boyd. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Lamm Boyd; and his grandsons, Brandon Ray Mercer and Bradley Cole Mercer.
Interment, Bailey Cemetery. (Masks and social distancing encouraged.) Mr. Boyd graduated from Atlantic Christian College (now Barton College), and is a US Coast Guard veteran.
