With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verlon Travis Wells of Bailey, North Carolina, who passed away on February 6, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. Wells and Mae Wells. He is survived by: his sons, George Wells of Bailey and Doug Wells of Wilson; his brothers, Danny Wells of Wilson and Donnie Wells of Rocky Mount; and his grandchildren, Travis Wells, Christin Wells, Matthew Wells, Cassie Wells, Ashley Alegood and Anna Bunn. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
