He was predeceased by: his children, Angela Gayle Powell and Robert "Bobby" Hubbard. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Ann Powell; his daughters, Cheryl P. McCoy of Bailey and Cindy P. Steele of Lapeer, Michigan; his grandchildren, Sarah M. Haddock (Michael), Abigail M. Myl (Jason), Joshua McCoy (Nicole), John-Robert Cline and Steven Cline; his great grandchildren, Isabella McCoy, Lincoln Haddock, Dawson Haddock and Coraline McCoy; and his brother Frank Powell of Durham.
