It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nicholas Maio (Bailey, North Carolina), born in Nassau, New York, who passed away on August 1, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Maio and Lucia Ciccione; his wife Beatrice Wasley Maio; and his siblings, Charlie, Tony, Frank Maio, Mary Maio, Carmella Maio and Josephine Veltry.
He is survived by: his daughter Cyndy Maio of Bailey; his grandchildren, Jennifer Maio Thorne (David) and Seth Hardin; his great grandchildren, Rachel and Charlotte Thorne; and his nephew Frankie Maio (Jae).
