He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Dorothy "Dee" Forrest Duggan (Chris), Kevin Louis Forrest (Anne) and Edgar "Eddy" Sherrill Forrest (Emily); his grandchildren, Caroline of Winston-Salem, NC., Patrick Duggan of Winston-Salem, NC., Connor of Winston-Salem, NC., Lily Grace Forrest of Winston-Salem, NC., Charlotte of Winston-Salem, NC., Bland of Winston-Salem, NC. and Hunter Forrest of Winston-Salem, NC.; and his cousin William "Bill" Plaster (Dawn) of Washington, NC..
