With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Eugene Whitley of Bailey, North Carolina, born in Smithfield, North Carolina, who passed away on February 5, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Oscar and Alma Mae Whitley; and his brothers, Hubert and Danny Whitley. He is survived by: his son David Whitley (Marilyn); his grandsons, Caleb and Noah; his daughter Jennifer King (Ronnie); his grandson Kaydon; his sisters-in-law, Vivian Whitley and Debra Whitley; his nieces, Shelda Strickland and Tammy Collie; and his friend Sandra Luther.
In lieu of flowers, Larry has requested donations be made to Milbournie Free Will Baptist Church, 5106 Raleigh Road parkway West, Wilson, NC 27896.
