It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kay Jay Dew of Bailey, North Carolina, who passed away on September 6, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy J. Dew; his parents, Joseph Homie Dew and Eula Murray Dew; and his siblings, Bruce Dew, Jimmie Dew, Billy John Dew, Jessie Mae Dew High and Dorothy Ann Gastor.
He is survived by: his son Michael Jay Dew; his daughter-in-law Debbie; his sisters, Myrtle Dew Pridgen and Hildred Dew Goering; his pet Harley; his close friends, David Mooring and Bill Brice; and his sisters-in-law, Rebecca Dew and Jeanette Dew. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
