He was predeceased by: his parents, Claud Jasper Allegood and Gladys Jordan Allegood; and his sister Geraldine Allegood Vincent. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jones Allegood; his children, Elizabeth Allegood Hinton (Arthur Harris Hinton), Josephus Jordan Allegood, Jr. (Melody Bissette Allegood), Richard Sylvester Allegood and Claud Jasper Allegood, II (Kristin Nicole Allegood); his grandchildren, Josephus Jordan Allegood, III, Alex Walker Allegood, Connor Bissette Allegood, Anna Elizabeth Hinton, William Arthur Hinton, Richard Harris Hinton, Samuel Joshua Allegood, Noah Tyler Allegood and Luke Michael Allegood; and his brother Carl Allegood. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews.
