It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Brantley Stone of Bailey, North Carolina, who passed away on August 11, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband T. R. Stone (Pete); and her daughter JoAnne Mercer Gallimore. She is survived by: her children, Rick Stone, Debbie Fitzgerald (Patrick) and Jennifer Edwards; her grandchildren, Shawn Paul Whitehead (Joanie), Meredith Bohannon Mercer, Marc Allen Whitehead (Dawn), John Patrick Fitzgerald, Jaime Nathaniel Stone (Jacey), David Sean Francois' and Amber Brook Edwards; and her great grandchildren, Hannah Marie Whitehead, Kaitlyn Nicole Whitehead, Shaun Fredrick Whitehead, Payton Elizabeth Dunn, Alden David Whitehead, Evan Marc Whitehead, Leonyndas Edward Stone and David Thedore Franzwa.
