He was predeceased by: his parent Verlon; and his brothers, Greg Wells, Timmy Wells and Gary Wells. He is survived by: his brother Doug Wells; his close friend Melinda Everett; his daughters, Cassie Medina and Anna Bunn; his niece Ashley Alligood; his nephews, Matthew Wells and Travis Wells; and his close friends, Gary Ferrell and Ray Turner. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joyners Funeral Home & Crematory (4100 Raleigh Rd Pkwy W, Wilson, NC 27896).
