It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Bailey (Bailey, North Carolina), who passed away on September 3, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Helen Jean Woodard of Rocky Mount, Trustee Clarence Barnes, Toney Bailey of Bailey, NC, Minister Mildred Brown-Farmer and Deacon Derrick Lucas of Bunn, NC; her siblings, Nora Lee Woodard of Spring Hope, NC, Edith Woodard of Zebulon, NC. and Jimmie Woodard of Bailey, NC.; her uncle Ezekiel Woodard; her close friends, Odell Dunn of Bailey, NC, Cynthia Woodard of Raleigh, NC and La-Tasha Merritt of Zebulon, NC.; and her daughters, Cynthia Coppage of Bailey, NC and Delois Person of Middlesex, NC. She is also survived by 17 Grandchildren and 27 Great-Grandchildren.
