He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Boykin and Geraldine Boykin; and his nephew Brandon Jones. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Boykin; his sons, Travis Boykin (Rhonda) and Blake Boykin (Bethany); his grandchildren, Rhett Boykin, Thorne Boykin, Brooks Boykin and Blakelee Boykin; his siblings, Ray Boykin (Lori), Sylvia Temple (Danny) and Sharon Greer (Jonathan); and his niece Kourtney Martin (Paul).
