With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Allen Keith Smith of Bailey, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 1, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Josiah Smith and Doris Murray Smith; his wife Joyce Smith; and his siblings, Jessie Faye Jernigan Stone, Perry Duane Jernigan and Josiah W. Smith, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Renee Smith Oveysey of Bailey, Melissa Smith Fields (Charlie) of Tampa, FL and Brian Smith of Wilson; his siblings, Sharon Smith of Martinsburg, WV, Patti Smith of Hagerstown, MD, Harry Smith (Carolyn) of Zebulon and Robin Smith of Hagerstown, MD; and his grandchildren, Scarlett Fields Spongberg (Cameron), Charlie Fields III, Fallon Fields, Daniel Oveysey, Alexander Oveysey and Ali Oveysey.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Samaria Baptist Church (3752 Samaria Church Ln, Middlesex, NC 27557). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
